INSPIRATION
Good design begins with a great story board.
This project is influenced by Spanish wine country, engulfed by palace walls & olive trees. This chef's kitchen for a family of five is inspired by marbling, bold red wine, dark grapes & rare cuts of prime quality meat.
CONCEPT
Sensual & intense - with use of sharp lines and bold appliances, large porcelain slabs that mimic cool toned stone & dark patina metal, this design leads with masculinity.
We also see fine legs in the Jagger stools & soft pastels in chalky stacked stones that add a feminine touch. There's a chaotic movement in the quartzite that mimics the marbling of steak & a butcher's knife cuts.
MATERIALS
Hints of aged brass, wood, chocolates & plum bring an elegance & warmth to the space.
A “wet look” polished brass faucet in midnight chrome & an obtuse shape offers sophistication, dimension & luxury.
With Venetian silks, silvers & sunsets will carry into the living & dining rooms as well as paints in muted berries, a dark plum alpaca throw & gray boucle.
PLANS
2 Dimensional kitchen drafts detail the floor plan, elevations & reflected ceiling plan to communicate scale, spacing, function & flow throughout the space.
RENDERINGS
3 Dimensional renderings provide a visualization & feel for the kitchen space & its balance & use of structure, materials, color & light before the design comes to life.

SPECIFICATIONS
Spec sheets allow the designer to prepare & organize orders for purchasing. This keeps the project within budget while tracking pricing, stock, quantities, & expected delivery times before installation.
